Professional Biography
Taylor Hirschberg is the Chief Executive Officer of Metli, a global advisory firm operating at the intersection of life sciences, public health, policy, and advanced analytics. He advises CEOs, boards, senior government officials, and industry leaders on translating complex evidence into scalable strategies delivering measurable outcomes, commercial value, and durable impact across regulated and emerging markets.
His career spans executive leadership, healthcare delivery, academia, and humanitarian response. He was the inaugural Hearst Endowed Scholar at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and is researcher at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care and Health Sciences at the University of Oxford, where his work focuses on evidence-based healthcare, implementation, and equity. He is a Fellow at the Georgetown Center for Global Health Science and Security, a Harvard Changemaker affiliated with the Harvard Carr Center for Human Rights Policy, and a contributor to the Council on Foreign Relations.
His professional experience includes academic and research appointments with Harvard University, the University of Colorado Boulder, and the University of Kentucky, as well as clinical work within the U.S. healthcare system at Massachusetts General Hospital. Internationally, he has led complex humanitarian and health-systems initiatives with Médecins Sans Frontières and founded a non-governmental organization in Brazil that helped catalyzes the development of a clinic now serving more than 30,000 patients annually.
In parallel, he is a published author and documentary producer, with award-nominated projects examining global health, forced migration, and human rights, including nominations for Pulitzer Prize and GLAAD Media Award. His leadership is defined by cross-sector credibility and an ability to align scientific rigor, narrative clarity, and operational discipline at scale.
With advanced and clinical degrees from Harvard, Columbia, and Oxford Universities Taylor is especially poised to lead Metli into a new age of healthcare access globally.
